HHS companies work collectively and collaborate across Federal departments to maximize the potential benefits of varied programs, providers, and insurance policies designed to improve the well-being of individuals, households, and communities. Many HHS businesses fund essential human providers to those who are least capable of help themselves, typically via the Department’s state, native, and tribal partners. Additionally, with respect to Head Start, there are 50,000 Head Start and Early Head Start classrooms across the nation in various settings starting from New York City to the underside of the Grand Canyon.
